B/E Aerospace Announces Seating Awards Valued At Up to $35 Million; Receives Supplier Certification Award.

B/E Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAV) today announced that two more airlines have chosen its passenger seats for use on their wide-body aircraft. With product deliveries scheduled to begin late in B/E's current fiscal year, the two programs are expected to provide combined revenues of up to approximately $35 million over several years, including options on new aircraft.

Separately, B/E today announced a major supplier certification award from one of the world's largest airframe manufacturers.

FOLLOW-UP ORDER FROM ASIAN AIRLINE

A major Asian airline plans to equip its new fleet of wide-body aircraft with B/E's first class Millennium(TM) seat and the award-winning coach class Innovator 2(TM) seat. "The award we announce today is especially gratifying because this same airline recently selected our Innovator 2(TM) for another of its wide-body programs," said Mr. Robert J. Khoury, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of B/E. "We are pleased by this expression of customer confidence in our seating products and our company." B/E announced the previous award in mid-March.

SUCCESS OF LIE-FLAT SEAT CONTINUES

A South American airline has selected B/E's lie-flat POD sleeper seat for first class use on its new wide-body aircraft. The decision marks the latest success for B/E's lie-flat seat product line, and is the third major award for the POD sleeper seat. The POD seat is so named because it incorporates a wrap-around shell to maximize passenger privacy.

The Skytrax independent research organization recently ranked B/E's lie-flat POD first class seat number one for total seat comfort. Skytrax also ranked B/E's Innovator 2(TM) first in long-haul coach class.

SEAT REPLACEMENTS OCCURRING MORE FREQUENTLY

"Lie-flat sleeper seats are gaining popularity for international first class service," said Mr. Khoury. Airlines worldwide are compressing the refurbishment cycle for first class cabins to three to four years. As a result, we expect healthy demand for our first class seating products over the next several years.
