B/E Aerospace Announces Intention to Repurchase Common Stock Issued in SMR Acquisition.


WELLINGTON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1998--B/E Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq-NMS: BEAV BEAV Binary Editor and Viewer ) today announced that, in light of the current market price of its stock, it intends to withdraw from registration with the SEC the four million shares of the Company's Common Stock previously issued to the selling stockholders in connection with the acquisition of SMR (Specialized Mobile Radio) The communications services used by police, ambulances, taxicabs, trucks and other delivery vehicles. Throughout the U.S., approximately 3,000 independent operators are licensed by the FCC to offer this service, which provides always-on  Aerospace, Inc.
