B/E Aerospace Announces Awards by Qantas Airways, Singapore Airlines and a Major European Airline in Airbus A380 Programs Valued at up to $80 Million.

WELLINGTON, Fla. -- B/E Aerospace, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAV), the world's leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and a leading aftermarket distributor of aerospace fasteners, today announced that Qantas Airways, Singapore Airlines and a major European airline have selected B/E to provide a wide range of products, including B/E's MiniPod(TM) business class seats as well as a broad range of food and beverage preparation and storage equipment for their new Airbus A380 aircraft. The total value of the program awards announced today are expected to aggregate over $80 million with initial firm orders valued at approximately $55 million.

B/E announced today that it has been selected by Qantas Airways to design, manufacture, deliver and certify a version of its award-winning MiniPod business class seats as well as a broad range of B/E food and beverage preparation and storage equipment for the airline's Airbus A380 aircraft. Previously, Qantas had selected B/E's MiniPod seating for its Boeing 747-400 and Airbus A330-300 aircraft, and earlier this year, Qantas awarded to B/E a super first class program to design, manufacture and deliver luxurious cabin interiors for Qantas' new fleet of A380 aircraft. Initial product deliveries under the order announced today are expected to begin in early 2006.

A major European airline has also selected B/E to design, manufacture, deliver and certify B/E's MiniPod lie-flat business class seats for its fleet of A380 aircraft. This A380 business class order represents B/E's initial business class seating award with this European carrier, further strengthening the company's market share in premium class seating. Initial deliveries pursuant to this award are expected to begin in mid-2006.

Singapore Airlines has also selected B/E to manufacture and deliver a broad range of its food and beverage preparation and storage products for the Asian carrier's fleet of new A380 aircraft, including Endura(TM), a state-of-the-art coffee and tea brewing system and winner of the prestigious red dot design award. Other food and beverage preparation and storage products include B/E's wine chillers and a large number of its newest generation aircraft oven, the DS3000 steam oven. Initial product deliveries are expected to begin in late 2005.

B/E seating products and super first class amenities have been selected by airlines accounting for over 60 percent of Airbus' A380 backlog, and B/E food and beverage preparation and storage equipment has been selected by virtually all of the A380 purchasers," stated Mr. Khoury. "We continue to expect further strong orders, particularly in the rapidly expanding Asia-Pacific and Middle East, as well as those European markets, which require very large wide body aircraft to transport passengers across very long distances. B/E MiniPod Business Class Seating Products

B/E's MiniPod lie-flat seats offer many unique amenities for the business traveler, such as the ability to fully recline and transform into a comfortable bed. Featuring advanced electric systems and controls, the seats are infinitely adjustable from the dining and working positions to the lie-flat bed mode.
