This order, from the country's state-owned oil company, is Mexico's largest single award for a boiler service project. B&W Mexicana S.A. de C.V. and Consorcio Procomia S.A., a construction company based in Guadalajara, State of Jalisco, Mexico, combined to bid and win this job against several boiler and construction companies. Three of the boilers are Bi-Drum type, rated at 200 ton/hr. capacity; one is a Stirling Power Boiler firing carbon monoxide carbon monoxide, chemical compound, CO, a colorless, odorless, tasteless, extremely poisonous gas that is less dense than air under ordinary conditions. It is very slightly soluble in water and burns in air with a characteristic blue flame, producing carbon dioxide; gas and also rated at 20 ton/hr. capacity; and one is an FM package boiler rated at 50 ton/hr.
