B&L develops, markets, and supports foundry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) An integrated information system that serves all departments within an enterprise. Evolving out of the manufacturing industry, ERP implies the use of packaged software rather than proprietary software written by or for one customer.  software and die cast ERP software exclusively. The software products and services offered are specifically designed for foundries and die cast companies, embodying decades of experience in these unique manufacturing sectors. All activities, including product development, marketing, sales, customer support, and training are coordinated from our offices in Bridgman, Mich.

Richard S. Laney founded B&L in 1976 after working in various material conversion industries for more than 20 years. The premise for the business was to create a software solution that met the unique needs of metalcasters. Mr. Laney always stressed excellence in customer service. These principals remain a driving force at B&L today.

, in 2009 B&L released its latest product, Odyssey Software Odyssey Software was a computer game developer founded in 1987 in Eastham, Massachusetts by Art V. Cestaro III. The company produced games for the Amiga and the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).  as a Service (SaaS). This convenient model minimizes the cost of entry as well as the need for a technical staff.
