The male lead, Khotan, also began working as a model in advertising campaigns and starred in various novelas including, "Mi PequeSa Traviesa" and "Deseo Prohibido." Behind the camera, Colombian producer Oscar Guarin of telenovela fame will step into the Mexican telenovela arena. As an accomplished director, Guarin has directed hits such as "Yo Soy Betty la Fea, Infantil" as well as acting as assistant director on the famous international film "Como Agua Para Chocolate."
