Aztec Corp. completes 147,000 s/f re-design.

The Aztec Corporation has completed a 147,000-square-foot comprehensive interior design assignment on behalf of Reckitt Benckiser N.A., a global consumer products company, at 399 Interpace Parkway in Morris Corporate Center IV in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Reckitt enckiser recently signed a long-term sublease to occupy 147,000 square feet f space at this facility, which was formerly occupied by Aventis Pharmaceuticals.

The Aztec Corporation's role in this complete office relocation and edesign, which serves as Reckitt Benckiser's North American headquarters, involved creating a clean image with more efficient use of space.

It also involved consulting for interior architectural design services and construction management, streamlining the proper interaction between corporate office space, computer and data rooms, as well as coordinating a comprehensive furniture inventory and new furniture procurement program. "The overall plan was to create an exceptional quality, open environment displaying a clean corporate interior for Reckitt Benckiser's employees," said Charles O. Logan, Jr., president and chief executive officer, The Aztec Corporation.

"By utilizing our Facility Master Planning and Interior Architectural Design services and expertise, we were able to accomplish our client's requirements which met their unique specifications. Aztec was able to marry Reckitt's business plan with a facility solution that is timeless, cost efficient and executed to ensure minimal workplace disruption."

The Aztec team of Charles Logan, president and CEO, Deborah Walsh, principal, and Kimberly Suchodolsky, director, were responsible for spearheading this redesign on behalf of Reckitt Benckiser. David Simson of GVA Williams New Jersey and Tom Kalasky of JAS Consulting also served as counsel to Reckitt Benckiser.
