, as filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the results for its fiscal year ended June 30, 1997. The net loss for the twelve months ended June 30, 1997 was $8,155,700 as compared to a net gain of $17,127,455 for the same period ended June 30, 1997. This year's decrease in net income is due to the Company's sale of assets in December of 1995.

Cash, cash equivalents, and short term investments were $17,080,260 at June 30, 1997 as compared to $25,696,492 at June 30, 1996. This decrease is due to the corporate and exploration expenditures in fiscal 1997.
