Azalea Software Inc. now shipping The Azalea VampireXT.


SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 1995--Azalea Software Inc. is happy to announce that they are now shipping The Azalea azalea (əzāl`yə) [Gr.,=dry], any species of the genus Rhododendron, North American and Asian shrubs of the family Ericaceae (heath family) that are distinguished by the usually deciduous leaves.  VampireXT(TM), a Windows QuarkXTension that converts Adobe PageMaker PageMaker was the first desktop publishing program, introduced in 1985 by Aldus Corporation[1], initially for the Apple Macintosh but soon after also for the PC. It relies on Adobe Systems' PostScript page description language. (TM) files to QuarkXPress(R) files.

The Azalea VampireXT is the ideal tool for desktop publishers who are dying to make the switch from PageMaker to QuarkXPress but have a collection of existing PageMaker files they need to deal with.

Without this valuable XTension, users are faced with the tedious prospect of moving text and graphics one item at a time, after rebuilding the base publication in XPress. With this XTension, the files are rebuilt automatically.

Text formatting is retained in the new XPress document.
