The event was hosted by the National Science and Technology Program Office (NTPO) and showcased Taiwan's progress in their 3G-WLAN "dual network" initiative to government officials, business leaders and the public. It showed how a subscriber using a dual network device such as the Dopod 900 will benefit from anytime, anywhere access to mobile data services across UMTS, GPRS and WiFi networks.
