Point-to-Point System Offers Industry's Highest

Performance, Flexibility and Reliability

Axxcelera Broadband Wireless, a Moseley company and premier provider of broadband wireless communications products and technologies, today introduced AB-Full Access(TM), an advanced point-to-point broadband wireless system which provides high-capacity transmission for Wide Area Network (WAN) and Metropolitan Area Network (MAN) environments.

Axxcelera will be exhibiting AB-Full Access for the first time at the Broadband Wireless World 2003 conference, April 9 and 10, 2003, at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose -- Booth No. 214.

AB-Full Access is a fixed wireless broadband platform that is spectrum and data rate scalable, enabling service providers and enterprises to trade off system gain with spectral efficiency and channel availability for optimal network connectivity. It delivers aggregate rates up to 310 Mbps at distances up to 20 miles. It is the first product of its kind to deliver this level of capacity in the Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM See ISM band. ) band.

AB-Full Access operates in the 5.725 to 5.850 GHz ISM band and offers the highest system gain on the market today. A common platform supports plug-in, scalable 100 Base-TX Ethernet and 155 Mbps OC-3 SONET interfaces. The Ethernet option provides selectable data rates of 25, 50, and 100 Mbps of full duplex or 50, 100 and 200 Mbps aggregate throughput, while the OC-3 option delivers 155 Mbps full duplex or 310 Mbps aggregate throughput. In addition to these two payload options, the system provides auxiliary T1 wayside channels, allowing the extension of PBX (Private Branch eXchange) An inhouse telephone switching system that interconnects telephone extensions to each other as well as to the outside telephone network (PSTN).  connectivity between buildings without additional leased-line costs.

"The AB-Full Access system represents Axxcelera's commitment to the development of advanced technologies, such as our single-chip modem ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) Pronounced "a-sick." A chip that is custom designed for a specific application rather than a general-purpose chip such as a microprocessor. , that culminate in a total system solution providing the highest performance in last-mile wireless connectivity," said Jamal Hamdani, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. The system incorporates the AB-Full Access Consecutive Point architecture, which supports a ring configuration providing a self-healing redundancy that is more reliable than traditional point-to-point networks. It also features Adaptive Power Control for automatic transmit power adjustments in response to RF interference and to enable simple or dense network deployments.

The AB-Full Access system is the optimal WAN/MAN solution for building-to-building or campus-to-campus network connections, eliminating the cost of trenching and the monthly lease line fees for municipalities, utilities, schools, colleges, universities, hospitals and service providers. The AB-Full Access system is easy and quick to deploy, providing customers with a nimble solution for their network requirements.
