Axolotl and Parkview Medical Center Announce Agreement; HIPAA Compliant Clinical Messaging for 300 Affiliated Physicians.

Parkview Medical Center will use Elysium for HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996, Public Law 104-191) Also known as the "Kennedy-Kassebaum Act," this U.S. law protects employees' health insurance coverage when they change or lose their jobs (Title I) and provides standards for patient health,  compliant Web-based delivery of laboratory, transcription, radiology, and admit-discharge-transfer results to its physicians. Parkview affiliated physicians and their staffs will have access to process, electronically sign, and manage this clinical data from any secure Internet connection 24 hours a day. And will have the ability to communicate and collaborate on-line with other providers in their community.
