Axis Submitting New 347 Volt DDH Ballast to UL for Approval for Canadian Market.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Axis Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AXTG) is pleased to announce the company is submitting for final product approval from the Underwriters Laboratory (UL) for the Axis Dimming/Daylight Harvesting (DDH) fluorescent ballast in 347 volts. Axis has already received UL approval for its 120 & 277 volt DDH ballasts released in the United States and the company anticipates they will also receive approval for their 347-volt model built primarily for the Canadian market. UL is an independent, not-for-profit product safety testing and certification organization reaching 210 million consumers in the United States and Canada. In addition, Axis has recently signed a national distribution agreement with Brite-Lite, Inc., a wholesale lighting distributor for the Canadian market.

A "ballast" is an electronic component that regulates voltage in fluorescent lighting. Axis Technologies Group, Inc. has developed an innovative new ballast with the aim of expanding daylight harvesting into mainstream fluorescent lighting applications.
