:AFT), a leader in the design and development of fixed wireless voice and broadband data products, will showcase the advantages of converged and fixed wireless solutions at Futurecom 2006 being held October 2 - 5 at the CentroSul Convention Center in Florianopolis, Brazil and at the 450 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. Marv Tseu, chief executive officer for Axesstel, is scheduled to speak at the Futurecom International Seminar at 10:50 a.m. in the Mediterranio Conference Room about the advantages of fixed wireless and fixed mobile convergence Seamless switching between cellular and local networks for mobile users. The goal is to have a handset that switches automatically from the cellular network to the local, wireless Wi-Fi network when entering a building in order to save cellphone minutes. . Tseu will also participate in two panels at the 450 Digitalization event: one on establishing a new approach to terminals and roaming (October 10th at 16:30 p.m.) and another on how partnerships in the 450 community can enhance investment potential (October 11th at 11:15 a.m.).
