Cantv has placed new purchase orders for Axesstel D800 CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum. The foremost application of CDMA is the digital cellular phone technology from QUALCOMM that operates in the 800 MHz band and 1.9 GHz PCS band. 2000 1xEV-DO Fixed Wireless Broadband High-speed wireless transmission of data. What is "high" speed is always a changing number. Wireless systems are typically slower than land-based, wireline networks. The fixed wireless devices will be offered in conjunction with Cantv's nationwide network expansion to broaden the access to affordable high quality voice and broadband data service. The D800 modem allows Cantv to make broadband data services available to businesses and enterprises. This model is currently available through Cantv stores and its network of authorized dealers nationwide. The L800 wireless fixed phone is offered in conjunction with Cantv's nationwide network expansion to broaden the access to affordable voice calling from the home. The L800 was launched successfully through the same channels during the Mother's Day promotion, May 14, 2006 with sales of more than 35,000 to date.

The Axesstel D800 modem and new L800 phone will enable us to offer a wider variety of quality voice and high-speed data services to meet the needs of both residential and business markets in our expanded coverage area."
