Axesstel Announces Availability of New Voice and Data Fixed Wireless Phones; Axesstel's New PX Series Offers Emerging Markets One Device for Voice and Data.

SAN DIEGO -- Axesstel, Inc. (AMEX:AFT), a leader in the design and development of fixed wireless voice and broadband data products, today announced the availability of the PX Series Fixed Wireless Desktop Phones, designed for consumers in developing countries worldwide looking to establish access to voice calling and data services. The PX210 (450 MHz), PX220 (800 MHz), and PX230 (1900 MHz) models are commercially available and in homologation testing with operators.

Based on the popular Axesstel L Series platform, the PX Series phones leverage CDMA2000 1X networks to offer high quality voice calling and short messaging, as well as access to email and the Internet at speeds up to 153.6 kbps. A built-in lithium-ion battery enables three hours of talk time and 72 hours of standby time, providing reliable communication in environments with unstable electrical service. The unique dust and moisture-resistant, membrane keypad is a practical design for even the most rugged environments.

A public call office (PCO) version is also available, enabling merchants to offer voice calling service to the broader public. The Axesstel proprietary PCO software displays the call duration on the LCD allowing the merchant to charge for the exact duration of the call.

The PX Series phones offer the added convenience of a speaker phone, hands-free dialing and a multilingual menu, along with enhanced functionality of a world clock, calculator, phone book, call history, message notification, and backlit LCD. Network-dependent features include caller ID, call waiting, call forwarding, three-way calling, and voicemail.
