SINGAPORE -- Axesstel, Inc. (AMEX AMEX

See: American Stock Exchange
:AFT), a leader in the design and development of fixed wireless voice and broadband data products, today launched the ground-breaking iAxess[TM] Series of Wireless Web Computers. iAxess Wireless Web Computers provide Internet access for online computing, emailing and web browsing. iAxess provides wireless operators with an ultra low-cost internet computing solution designed to accelerate wireless broadband High-speed wireless transmission of data. What is "high" speed is always a changing number. Wireless systems are typically slower than land-based, wireline networks. In the past, wireless broadband started at 250 Kbps, whereas land-based broadband was generally considered to start at T1  data penetration in underserved markets where cost is an issue.

Live demonstrations of iAxess will be conducted in Axesstel booth 4F3-08 in the US Pavilion at CommunicAsia being held June 19 - 22, 2007 in Singapore and at its stand at the CDMA WLL conference being held June 26 - 27, 2007 in Istanbul, Turkey.

"The pent up demand for low cost computing and Internet access for many first time users is widely recognized by global leaders in computing, communications and government," said Marv Tseu, chief executive officer for Axesstel.

The emergence of web-based software solutions such as Web 2.0, will dramatically expand user-driven computing, content producing capabilities and the way information is created and shared.

"iAxess wireless web computers allow wireless operators to enable their subscribers to take advantage of the latest trends in online computing. This will dramatically change data subscription penetration in emerging markets as we lower the barriers to adoption," added Tseu. "We look forward to forging partnerships with operators at this critical juncture to provide seamless plug-and-play online computing and Internet access for all."

Many commonly used solutions for computing and Internet browsing require users to purchase a computing device, modem, and peripheral devices in addition to service which adds complexities in configuration, software compatibility, and after-market service. To the end-user, these PC and software-centric solutions can often equate to confusion and a high cost to gain access to computing and basic communication services.

iAxess automatically connects to wireless broadband data networks to provide immediate access to online computing, email and web browsing without the need to download software or set up configurations. Pre-provisioning by the operator results in a positive out-of-the-box user experience and minimizes after-market service. iAxess is ideal for residential and small office/home office See SOHO.  (SOHO Soho (sōhō`, sə–), district of Westminster, London, England, known for its continental restaurants. Once a fashionable quarter, it became popular among writers and artists in the 19th cent. ) users in markets with limited access to land-line data networks, low penetration of laptop or desktop PCs and low income per household.

First in the series of wireless web computers, the iAxess IE530[TM] leverages 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc.  enhanced data rates for GSM evolution

Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE) or Enhanced GPRS (EGPRS), is a digital mobile phone technology that allows it to increase data transmission rate and improve data transmission reliability.

This contrasts with units of storage where 1 Kb = 1024 bits (note upper case K). . The iAxess IE530 connects to virtually any model television set or monitor and comes bundled with a keyboard and mouse for a complete solution that provides Internet access to allow users to create documents and content using web-based software, send and receive emails, and browse the Internet.

Data communications equipment is often subject to the homologation requirements of various countries.  samples of the iAxess IE530 for operators are scheduled to be available by late third quarter and commercial shipments are anticipated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2007.

Additional features of the Axesstel iAxess IE530 Wireless Web Computer include:

    * Backward compatibility to general packet radio service (GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) The first high-speed digital data service provided by cellular carriers that used the GSM technology.
