San Monica-based Stonefield Josephson was presented with the "Outstanding Marketing Initiative Award of 2004" by the Leading Edge Alliance. The award was accepted by Lyne Noella, the company's chief marketing officer ... Dave Freeman was named recipient of the CalCPA Committee on Taxation's 2004 Saul Braverman Award for distinguished service in tax practice. Freeman, a CPA for 45 years, spent the last 27 years of his career at San Francisco-based Moss Adams. He has served on the San Francisco Chapter's board of directors, in addition to his work as chair of the chapter's Tax Committee and its IRS Liaison Committee. In accepting the award, Freeman said, "This is a testament to Moss Adams, which not only allows professional volunteer opportunities, but encourages it."
