* The Newsletter on Newsletters' 34th Annual Newsletter Awards Competition. Early-bird deadline February February: see month.  14 ($75 fee, $50 for NL/NL subscribers), final deadline February 28 ($95, $70 for NL/NL subs).

+ Editorial categories (new this year) recognize journalism excellence in subscription (b-to-b and consumer) newsletters; corporate (internal and external); organization, association, website, free e-zine, and supplement/annual/special report. Plus, the best entry will win Best Edited Newsletter of 2007.

+ Design categories recognize appropriate newsletter design in the same breakdowns as the editorial ones. Plus the best entry will win Best Designed Newsletter of 2007.

+ Marketing categories recognize newsletter promotion excellence in direct mail (b-to-b and consumer); renewal series; e-mail; web sales page; prospect list development page; and conference promotion. Plus, the best entry will win Best Newsletter Marketer of 2007.

In any communications session, "download" means receive, and "upload" means send.
