The Canadian Association of Broadcasters The Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) is the national voice of Canada's private broadcasters, representing the vast majority of Canadian programming services, including private radio and television stations, specialty, pay and pay-per-view services.  has awarded two coveted national awards to each of the two News Talk Radio Stations in the province. News Talk Radio 980 CJME CJME Citizens for Justice in the Middle East  earned Gold Ribbon Award for breaking news coverage, while News Talk Radio 650 CKOM won a Gold Ribbon Award in the community service category.

Regina's Days Inn was named Property of the Year for the third year in row at the recent annual Canadian franchise conference.
