For the first time, administrators using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) A widely used network monitoring and control protocol. Data are passed from SNMP agents, which are hardware and/or software processes reporting activity in each network device (hub, router, bridge, etc.  consoles such as ManageWise can receive NDS alerts, which will considerably simplify the task of managing NDS networks. In addition to adding SNMP support, new features include advanced integration with Novell's ManageWise, an expanded help system and improved installation tools.
