Award-winning DRIP Investor's design lets the content speak without distraction.


That's the headline we gave a review of DRIP Investor two years ago in Newsletter Design, except that "Award-winning" has been added following its garnering a Silver Award in the new investment category in the 1999 Newsletter Awards Competition.

 review, Roger C. Parker observed: "DRIP Investor succeeds because of its design restraint and the ease with which its contents can be assimilated.

"Two simple things contribute greatly to the design success of DRIP Investor: the restrained use of a 'serious, upscale' color and a significant (and consistent) amount of white space at the top of each page. The second color (dark red) is used for the key word in the nameplate, department headers (i.e., 'market capsule' and 'in the news'), plus the horizontal rules that provide top and bottom borders for each page. These rules also emphasize the white space at the top of each page as well as the headlines located inside the white space."

While Parker pointed out that the text point size--8/11 1/2--borders on the small, the "sturdy sturdy
