: ROMN), the leading independent animation company best known for its primetime hits THE SIMPSONS and KING OF THE HILL, announced today that acclaimed animator Phil Roman will be moving his company, Phil Roman Entertainment, back to the company he founded in 1984.

Beginning March 1, Phil Roman and his staff will be taking up offices in the North Hollywood studios of Film Roman. The two companies have entered into an agreement where they will work together on developing new and current projects and create traditional animated productions, which Phil Roman has been best known during the past 40 years.

In February of 1999, the six-time Emmy winner resigned from his post as chairman of Film Roman to set up a new studio, Phil Roman Entertainment. Under his leadership, the company has produced the TV Christmas specials, THE GAUDINS and GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER reindeer, ruminant mammal, genus Rangifer, of the deer family, found in arctic and subarctic regions of Eurasia and North America. It is the only deer in which both sexes have antlers. . Currently in production are 26 episodes of HOWDI GAUDI. The company has an active development slate, including a partnership with Atomic Cartoons in Vancouver to launch ATOMIC BETTY, and a deal with Tommy Lynch Tommy Lynch was a New Zealand international centre, who played for English club Halifax from 1951-56. He made 188 appearances for Halifax, scoring 112 tries and nine goals.  to produce the live-action kid series, JUNIOR LIFEGUARDS. Roman remains a substantial shareholder in Film Roman and rejoined the Board of Directors in mid-2001.
