Award-Winning Writer, Gaming Industry Leaders and Tribal Gaming Association Chairmen to Light up the Stage at G2E 2006 Keynotes.

LAS VEGAS -- The keynotes at Global Gaming Expo (G2E) 2006 will offer a unique look at today's gaming entertainment industry, insights into the growth of gaming worldwide and a detailed discussion of the future of tribal gaming. G2E is scheduled for Nov. 14-16 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with the G2E Training & Development Institute taking place Nov. 13.

Celebrated humor columnist Dave Barry will lead off the keynotes at G2E this year, providing a unique and entertaining perspective on today's gaming industry. As the writer of an internationally syndicated humor column; the author of numerous books, two of which formed the basis for the 1990s television series Dave's World; and the 1988 Pulitzer Prize winner for commentary, Barry has entertained readers and audiences alike on a wide variety of subjects. Scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 14, his keynote address is sure to captivate and amuse G2E attendees.

On Wednesday, Nov. 15, Fahrenkopf will moderate the popular State of the Industry keynote, which this year will focus on the next generation of global gaming. Fahrenkopf will lead a lively discussion among global industry leaders as they address the continued growth and expansion of gaming into new markets worldwide, enumerating the trends and developments that will impact the industry in 2007 and beyond. Panelists include Peter Dean, CBE, chairman of the Gaming Board for Great Britain; Terry Lanni, chairman and CEO of MGM MIRAGE; Gary Loveman, chairman, president and CEO of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc.; T.J. Matthews, CEO of International Game Technology; and Paul Oneile, CEO of Aristocrat Technologies.

Rounding out the keynotes on Thursday, Nov. 16, will be Ernie Stevens, Jr., chairman of the National Indian Gaming Association, moderating Tribal Gaming Summit: The Future of Indian Gaming. This keynote will focus on critical tribal gaming issues and their expected economic impact today and in the future. Stevens will lead a panel including Anthony Miranda, chairman of the California Indian Gaming Association and other tribal gaming leaders. With gaming continuing to grow and evolve in both tribal and commercial markets and tribal and commercial gaming facilities experiencing increasingly similar issues, the discussions presented in this keynote will illuminate important information for professionals from every industry sector.
