 David Isay launched today a multi-year partnership that will bring original programming to www.audible.com, Audible's Web site for streaming playback at the PC or mobile playback on AudibleReady(TM) mobile devices. The new alliance will also make Isay's seminal public radio documentaries, produced by Sound Portraits Productions, Inc. available for digital distribution over the Internet. The initiative will also showcase public radio documentaries by leading independent producers and will locate new and original works, available at www.audible.com. In a unique initiative addressing the spoken word creative community, Audible has provided an email address See Internet address. , isay@audible.com, through which independent producers and other audio creators can provide feedback on Audible programs and make it possible for people to present ideas to Isay and Audible. Isay will work with Audible to locate and nurture new documentary talent looking to produce work for digital distribution over the Internet.
