The Brinker International Lecture Series, produced by the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts Foundation, will debut on Monday, May 19, 2003 and will be Dallas' only lecture series devoted exclusively to the performing arts. The series will annually bring to Dallas the world's most distinguished performing artists representing theater, opera, film, musical theater, music and dance.

The Majestic Theatre is a Broadway theatre located at 245 West 44th Street in midtown Manhattan.

Mr. Simon will be interviewed by his long-time friend and colleague, Carl Reiner, the well-known writer, actor, comedian and director.

Tickets for the Brinker International Lecture Series' inaugural lecture go on sale Saturday, February 1 and are available through all Ticketmaster locations and at the Majestic Theatre box office. All proceeds generated by The Brinker International Lecture Series will be used to help design and build the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts.

Brinker International recently gave a $1 million gift to help build the theaters to comprise the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts and to concurrently establish The Brinker International Lecture Series.
