Award-Winning DR Solutions from Canon on Display at AHRA Show in San Antonio; Canon DR Technology Brings High Quality, Low-Cost Medical Imaging Innovation to a Broad Range of Hospital and Clinical Environments.

SAN ANTONIO -- Canon Medical Systems, a division of Canon U.S.A, Inc., will demonstrate the versatility and usability of its advanced DR solutions and innovations, including its award-winning Canon CXDI-50G portable DR system, at the American Healthcare Radiology Association (AHRA) Annual Meeting and Exposition, August 8th-10th.

A leader in the digital radiography market, Canon delivers cutting-edge DR products with reliable and innovative technology. One of the systems on display at the Canon Medical Systems booth (#615) will be the Canon CXDI-50G large imaging area (14 inches x 17 inches) portable DR system that can be used at a patient's bedside. Canon Medical Systems will also feature its CXDI-31 portable DR system, the lightest and most compact DR system of its kind. The full line of Canon DR Systems, including the Canon CXDI-40G general DR system, will be featured interfacing with multiple RadPro configurations, including upright, bucky tables and portable x-ray units.

Canon DR Image Viewer software will also be showcased at the Canon Medical Systems AHRA booth. Canon DR Image Viewer is a solution that provides the user with a pixel-to-pixel display of individual or multiple high-resolution images and the ability to send those images directly to any industry standard Picture Archival Communication System (PACS). Canon DR Image Viewer full-featured software is an economical and scalable package that can suit a variety of image viewing needs and budgets.

The Canon Mobile Access Station (MAS) System will also be displayed at this year's AHRA show. The MAS System is designed to help to improve workflow of patient data transfer on the digital portable x-ray units and to help meet productivity demands of trauma, ICU and bedside care.

Since 1997, Canon Medical Systems has introduced five generations of flat panel sensors (Canon CXDI-11, Canon CXDI-22, Canon CXDI-31, Canon CXDI-40G and Canon CXDI-50G), offering a full range of DR system solutions for multiple applications such as general, ICU, trauma and bedside.
