The CD-ROM brings the story and the history of the paintings to life through interactive tours, in addition to providing insights from noted art critics and historians. The viewers "walk" through a virtual Barnes Foundation gallery, where they can look in detail at more than 330 paintings. With the click of a mouse, viewers can direct where they move within the galleries, creating a memorable and very personal experience. In addition to the long-hidden works of art, the title offers a look at never-before- published archival documents from the Barnes Foundation, which include letters from Matisse as well as several important art dealers.
