Wayne Fraser is one of three owners of Softub Canada and has been with the company since inception in 1990.

Wayne is responsible for the national marketing and sales of the Softub in Canada. Currently Softub Canada has over 120 dealers coast to coast. Softub Canada has been involved in numerous cross-promotions where the Softub has been featured as a prize giveaway with companies such as Molson, Labatt, Kraft Canada, TJ Lipton, Country Style Donuts and Colgate to name a few. Phenomenal sales growth earned Softub Canada the distinction of being placed #74 on the top 100 list of "Canada's Fastest Growing Companies" by 'Profit' magazine's annual poll.

This honour placed Softub Canada among Canada's top growth leaders, marketers, strategists and innovators.

Sharon Hacio recently acquired the position of chief administrative officer A chief administrative officer (CAO) is responsible for administrative management of private, public or governmental corporations. The CAO is one of the highest ranking members of an organization, managing daily operations and usually reporting directly to the chief executive  for the Town of Marathon.

She is a retiree from TBayTel's telephone and corporate services. She retired in 2002. Sharon was responsible for the strategic direction and overall management for the company. Sharon was instrumental in bringing funding in from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is a division of the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines in the Canadian province of Ontario, whose purpose is to provide funding and program support to foster economic development in the economically disadvantaged Northern Ontario region.  Corp. for two separate projects, which created over 850 jobs.

She established a detailed 10-year capital program resulting in the completion of digital switching technology in 1993 and the installation of fibre optics throughout the area.

As a member of the City of Thunder Bay's senior management team, she was responsible for policy, administration and budget strategy for the Corporation.

Lisa Corbiere-Addison has been the owner of BJ's & Addison, OK Tire-Auto Service and Arctic Cat since it's inception in 1995. Together with her husband Lindsay Addison, they have operated Addison's Cat House, the first Arctic cat dealership on a reserve in North America.

In 1999 they purchased BJ's Ok Tire, the first Ok Tire dealership on a reserve from her late uncle Bary Corbiere. Corbiere Addison won the NOBA NOBA Notice of Budget Approval (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services)

She is presently serving her second term on the board of directors for the Manitoulin Chamber of Commerce. In previous years she has held the position of director with the Manitoulin Health Centre, and Manitoulin Snow Dusters. She is actively involved in various fundraising events for the Manitoulin Health Centre, Manitoulin Snow Dusters and various teams, throughout the year on Manitoulin Island.

Besides her involvement with the business Lisa is a teacher at Manitoulin Secondary School Manitoulin Secondary School is located in M'Chigeeng, Ontario, about 1.5 hours from downtown Greater Sudbury, on Manitoulin Island.

Jean Begin is the owner of The BookShelf, Thunder Bay's largest used bookstores.

Jean just opened his second location in Thunder Bay at the beginning of April, a move that keeps him working six days per week.

Jean graduated from Lakehead University with a combined degree in psychology/philosophy, winning the President's Award.

Having been raised in a military family, Jean enjoys traveling and recently returned from a trip exploring Ireland.

He is a member of several organizations. Being bilingual, Jean also judges high school debates in both English and French.

She volunteers on the Women's Crisis Line with the Centre des Femmes Francophone.

Donna owns a business called ACHIEVE RESULTS! Research & Planning founded in 1994, which has been on hold since 2002. Involved as a member of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce from 1994-2002. As a freelance researcher and planning entrepreneur, she has had a focus on a wide range of research issues which include, social, health, environment, economy, business, marketing, legislation, government documents, legal and case law. The planning end of her business projects include facilitating focus groups, trade and consumer shows, public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most , media conferences, special events, programs, conference and public meetings. Her order of priorities in life is are faith and ethics first, family and career. Donna enjoys family time, community involvement, reading and hiking, and is an avid learner and likes to teach.

An important effort is to ensure that the North Superior Region of Ontario continues to be served in both official languages, she says.
