Award for RNLI stalwart volunteer.A DEDICATED lifeboat volunteer from Anglesey has received an award for his long service. Ken Bolton Ken Bolton (born 1949) is an Australian poet and art critic. Mr Vlasto was visiting the Moelfre RNLI Lifeboat Station to unveil two bronze panels outside the Sea watch centre to commemorate the anniversary of the tragic loss of 479 lives when the vessel Royal Charter was wrecked on the Moelfre rocks 150 years ago. The detailed statuette of a lifeboat man is awarded to RNLI Station officials once they have completed 10 years of service to the charity organisation. |
