Parents Choosing Smart Gifts Like Teach My Baby over Traditional Toys

CHICAGO -- The first and only all-in-one learning system for babies 6-18 months, Teach My Baby, has been chosen as an iParenting Greatest Product of 2009 award winner. Teach My Baby is designed to facilitate early learning for babies while eliminating the guesswork for parents and encouraging bonding time.

Each section of Teach My Baby contains coordinated teaching tools that encourage natural repetition. The kit is divided into 4 sections: First Words
A First Word means the first word someone has said in his/her entire lifetime. Usually it's a sign of language development.

First Words is a Canadian hip hop group, consisting of Halifax beatmaker Jorun, DJ STV and emcees Sean One & Above.
, First Numbers, Self, and Sound & Touch, with 15 teaching tools that encourage fun and educational play. To be considered for the iParenting Greatest Product of 2009 award, Teach My Baby underwent testing with a panel of parent judges.

provided this feedback after reviewing Teach My Baby. "Children learn by repetition and the fact that all the pictures in the books, on the blocks, puppets, etc., all coordinated is a great way for the child to become familiar with these characters/animals and therefore making the learning process easier. This product also encourages parent-child interaction which is often lacking in this day and age," the iParenting Media Awards' Reviewer said. "This product is wonderful because it is something that grows with the child as you introduce different parts of each section."

The teaching tools in Teach My Baby include nesting blocks, finger puppets, books, textured flashcards, mirrored flashcards, a story board, one piece puzzles and two piece puzzles. Each tool provides consistent messaging across the sections of the kit, simplifying the learning process to fit the abilities of babies' developing minds. When play and learning time are over, the tools are easily returned to their organized and portable carrying case - making it the perfect tote for a trip to the grandparents or a play date in the park.

Teach My Baby retails for $49.99 and is available at www.toysrus.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, www.fao.com and www.eToys.com, as well as specialty retailers across the US and Canada. For more information, visit www.teach-my.com.
