Patrick Sims, an industry consultant to both equipment manufacturers and service providers alike, was instrumental in the initial formation of the FTTH Council in 2001. Since that time he has volunteered in many capacities and was chosen this year for his work as Chair of the 2005 conference planning committee. As conference chair, Sims has displayed extraordinary dedication, time and commitment to ensure the success of this year's conference.
