Award Software Announces Earnings Results for Third Quarter 1997; Revenues Increase 65% over Q3 1996.

), today announced financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended Sept. 30, 1997.

Revenues for the third quarter of fiscal 1997 were a record $5.6 million. This compares with $5.2 million in the 1997 second quarter and $3.4 million in the third quarter of 1996, a 65 percent increase. Income from operations was $1.4 million, compared with $1.2 million in the 1997 second quarter and $835,000 in the third quarter a year ago. Net income for the third quarter of 1997 was $1.1 million, compared with $1.0 million in the 1997 second quarter and $608,000 in the third quarter of 1996. Earnings per share for the third quarter of 1997 were $0.15 per share compared with $0.13 per share in the 1997 second quarter and $0.10 per share in the third quarter of 1996.
