Avreo First Internet Radiology Solutions Provider to Host Applications With Intel Online Services.

Avreo (formerly Riptide Technologies), a leading Internet software developer of integrated workflow solutions for radiology, today announced that its Internet solution for Radiology, ARIIS, is now hosted by Intel(R) Online Services, Inc. at its 10,000-server data center in Chantilly, Virginia. Under the terms of the agreement, Avreo is now offering ARIIS as a hosted application using the AppChoice(sm) Managed Hosting Services from Intel Online Services. Users of this breakthrough XML-based product can access the ARIIS application via the Internet. Instead of requiring precious onsite IT staff, imaging centers and hospitals can use ARIIS online via a web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. In order to view a site, you type its address (URL) into the browser's Location field; for example, www.computerlanguage.com, and the home page of that site is downloaded to you. . Intel Online Services manages the platform supporting the application and the data from its highly-secure Data Center in Chantilly, VA, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and utilizes best of breed EMC Symmetrix solutions as part of its managed services. Intel Online Services also provides management of long-term archival of radiological images, reports, and other patient information.
