) announced today plans are being made to acquire certain wells in Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma. , Kingfisher kingfisher, common name for members of the family Alcedinidae, essentially tropical and subtropical land birds, with affinities to trogons and swifts and related to the hornbill. , Major and Blaine counties Blaine County is the name of four counties in the United States:
  • Blaine County, Idaho
  • Blaine County, Montana
  • Blaine County, Nebraska
  • Blaine County, Oklahoma
. The wells, of which there are approximately 15, are located in what the Company considers to be high activity areas and are offset to current or past production. Operators in the areas include Chesapeake and Unit Petroleum. Currently 2 of the wells are producing oil and gas. The Company plans to re-complete the wells that are shut in.
