) solutions, today announced the immediate availability of its BizCast(TM) platform. Leveraging proven technologies acquired as a result of Avolent's recent union with Solant, Inc., BizCast offers enhanced functionality for the delivery of interactive electronic invoices between billers, biller service providers, banks and business customers (payers).

"Just two weeks ago we stated that by joining forces with Solant we would produce immediate benefits for the market. Today we begin delivering on that promise by announcing the release of BizCast four months earlier and more fully featured than previously planned," said Douglas S. Thompson, chairman and chief executive officer of Avolent. "We are the only company capable of providing a complete, feature-rich solution that meets the needs of business-to-business billers, service providers and payers. We have three customers using BizCast in production, and an additional two slated to go live within 30 days. With these customers, we have clearly established ourselves as the EIPP market leader."

Moreover, BizCast technology has had successful real-work implementations, such as Advanced Radio Telecom [NASDAQ NASDAQ

"We see EIPP as an important solution for our customers," noted Steve Tarr, senior vice president and chief information officer for Advanced Radio Telecom. "We and our customers are e-savvy, so a highly efficient, paperless invoice presentment and payment capability is critical to offering our customers next generation services. In addition, the savings we achieve through using EIPP contributes to our goal of providing efficient, cost-effective services to our clients."

BizCast's enhanced customer self-care features and its streamlined workflow for receipt, review, dispute, approval and payment of invoices enable billers to simultaneously reduce support costs while providing business customers with greater convenience and better service. BizCast can directly improve the bottom line of billers by shortening the days sales outstanding In accountancy, Days Sales Outstanding is a company's average collection period.
