Security analysts can use dual monitor digital video (DVI) to better view maps, satellite images, detailed drawings, schematics and other sensitive data along with their normal text based applications stored on different computers.

"Our government customers are increasingly challenged to find ways to provide access to information while also keeping it protected," said Dave Perry, executive vice president, Avocent. "Our secure switches simplify how users access information without compromising network security."

"Avocent is pleased to continue to help our customers achieve their goals more efficiently and more securely," said Perry.

The SwitchView SC8 DVI switch is NIAP Common Criteria validated to EAL 4, as are all Avocent SwitchView SC KVM switches.
