Harmon will be retiring as Senior Vice President of West Coast Operations. In commenting on his decision, Mr. Harmon stated, "With the integration of Cybex and Apex into Avocent well along the way, now seems like the right time for me to step back and spend some time deciding how I want to spend the next phase of my life. There are good people in place to assume my responsibilities." Mr. Harmon will remain as a director of Avocent Corporation.
