Avocent's KVM over IP and AMX matrix switching systems chosen for microsoft technology centers in Austin and Boston.

. With Avocent's KVM switching systems installed in the MTCs, Microsoft's technical staff will be able to access and control the servers running Microsoft's newest product, Windows Server 2003, including the core data center and their new envisioning center.

 servers on-site in Austin or Boston or from any remote location. Future plans include installing AMX analog switches that will connect to servers in the Austin Envisioning Center--a studio for customer presentations that will feature the latest Windows 2003 server operating systems.

"Our technology gives the MTC the ability to easily add servers or administrators, as well as the flexibility to access and control these servers from any location."
