Avocent's DSView 2.0 features DSWebview for browser-based access to multiple servers.


Avocent Corporation (NASDAQ/NM: AVCT AVCT Advanced Vehicles Concept Team ), a provider of KVM switching and network connectivity appliances, recently announced DSView 2.0, which features DSWebview, a browser-based version of the management software that is the cornerstone of Avocent's KVM (K Virtual Machine) A version of the Java Virtual Machine for small devices with limited memory. With DSView 2.0, administrators can use industry standard IP connections to gain secure access to any data center device. DSView 2.0 offers cross platform support and is optimized to work with Internet Explorer (5.5 +), Netscape (6.2+), Mozilla and Internet Information Server See IIS.
