Avnet Enterprise Solutions Adds New Compaq Atalla Security Products to its Solution Portfolio.

Internet security is the process of protecting data and privacy of devices connected to internet from information robbery, hacking, malware infection and unwanted software.

The partnership capitalizes on Avnet Enterprise Solutions' broad technology solutions and Compaq's expertise in the area of security products.

Compaq's Atalla Security Product Group provides a complete range of hardware security processor products for banking, Internet and enterprise security infrastructure applications. The Atalla Security Product Group of Compaq specializes in securing financial transactions over private and public networks.

These products will be sold and supported by Avnet Enterprise Solutions as well as integrated into server platform offerings from Compaq and Avnet Enterprise Solutions for applications such as secure payments.
