Kichloo will manage Avnet Electronics Marketing's semiconductor supplier relationships, and Barber will focus specifically on Xilinx business development. The addition of Kichloo and Barber to this team provides dedicated executive resources that semiconductor suppliers and customers can leverage to help profitably and efficiently grow their businesses. In his new role, Kichloo will relocate from Singapore to Avnet's corporate headquarters in Phoenix, where he will develop semiconductor supplier management best practices to be used cross-regionally. His efforts will span both the design and supply chain, and Kichloo will assist regions in developing tailored strategies and business plans for supplier growth. Kichloo is also chartered with linking Avnet Electronics Marketing's semiconductor supplier relationships globally, including its "support across the board" supplier line card strategy and the alignment of Avnet Electronics Marketing's semiconductor sales strategies with supplier roadmaps. Kichloo is a 23-year veteran of the electronics distribution industry and most recently served as president of Avnet Electronics Marketing's South Asia and Korean operations. He worked at Memec for 12 years, where he managed global business development for its Xilinx relationship.
