See enterprise data and enterprise networking.  products, software, storage and services, Tuesday announced the launch of its Enterprise Storage and Network Solutions business in Europe.

Following the acquisition of VEBA VEBA Voluntary Employees' Beneficiary Association  Electronics Group by Avnet Inc. in October 2000, two units of VEBA became part of Avnet Hall-Mark to form its new Enterprise Storage and Network Solutions (ESNS) division: Transformation Software Ltd. (Transformation) in the United Kingdom and Raab Karcher Electronics' Enterprise Storage Division (RKE RKE Remote Keyless Entry (car doors) ) in Germany.

Heading up the new division for Europe is Rick Terry, general manager, Enterprise Storage and Network Solutions, who joins Avnet Hall-Mark from ADIC.

Avnet Hall-Mark's ESNS division will supply Enterprise Storage, Network Security and Printer Solutions from world-class vendors. The Storage offering includes, among other brands, IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) , StorageTek, VERITAS, Computer Associates, ADIC, Tivoli, HDS (Hitachi Data Systems, Santa Clara, CA, www.hds.com) A leading provider of high-end storage hardware, software and services.
