Avnet Completes Offering of $250 Million of Notes.


PHOENIX -- Avnet Inc. (NYSE:AVT) today announced the completion of its offering of $250 million aggregate principal amount of 6.00% Notes due 2015. The lead managers for the offering were Banc of America Securities LLC and Credit Suisse First Boston LLC.

The completion of this offering satisfies one of the conditions to Avnet's previously announced cash tender offer for up to $250 million aggregate principal amount of 8.00% Notes due Nov. 15, 2006, which is currently scheduled to expire on Sept. 13, 2005.
