As part of the AvistarVOS(TM) server, Call Logging software collects user and system data of every video call, broadcast, video recording and playback in a centralized database. Users of Avistar's technology can then retrieve and analyze when calls are made, to whom, and for how long. The new release provides a comprehensive data schema with complete user and system information to support detailed call analysis including user calling reports, bill back reports, call success rates and equipment utilization.

Call Logging adds to Avistar's existing technology features that customers can use to help meet compliance requirements Compliance requirements are a series of directives established by United States Federal government agencies that summarize hundreds of Federal laws and regulations applicable to Federal assistance (also known as Federal aid or Federal funds).  when using video for communication. Avistar's recently released Multi-Channel IP gateway, the AG4000, provides outputs for audio recording, allowing Avistar customers to record the audio of any internal or external video call in the wide area network. Used in combination with the Call Logging software, it allows companies to identify and retrieve for review any audio recording, which may be required for compliance reasons. In addition, any Avistar video call can be recorded and stored for later viewing. Also, Avistar's video email - vBrief(TM), can be sent to compliance personnel and approval before being sent externally.

"Compliance is a major issue for our financial services clients and is vital to video communications being broadly adopted in this industry," said Jerry Burnett, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Usage and system reports can be generated using standard tools such as Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel.
