The Multi-Channel IP Gateway is a card that plugs directly into an Avistar switch, thus requiring no additional rack space. It also provides outputs for audio recording, allowing Avistar customers to record outgoing calls -- a feature that solves a compliance issue for financial industry customers.

The Avistar Multi-Channel IP Gateway is supported by the latest AvistarVOS(TM) Server software release, version 7.0. The AvistarVOS Server software is the core enabling technology that powers Avistar's enterprise video solutions, providing access to all video applications while supporting the network infrastructure that is necessary for enterprise-class systems. It manages the new gateway with automatic configuration, remote administration and management, configurable profiles, and automatic route selection to manage video traffic and assign routing priorities across multiple network types.
