Avis Europe plc and ABN AMRO Lease Holding Sign Preferred Supplier Agreement.

Avis Europe plc, the leading car rental company in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, is pleased to announce the recent signing of an agreement with ABN AMRO Lease Holding to become preferred supplier of replacement and pre-contract rental vehicles to the LeasePlan Group.

The agreement, effective immediately, will run for a three and a half year period and will allow Avis and the LeasePlan Group to develop a pan-European programme for rates, reservation capability and service. The implementation of electronic invoicing and reservations, as well as on-line customer service systems, will enable both Avis and LeasePlan to make considerable cost savings.
