This program funds early-stage R&D projects at small technology companies--projects which serve a DoD need and have the potential for commercialization in private sector and/or military markets. During Phase I, Avineon completed an analysis that demonstrated the validity of the TRIDW system and the database design. During the Phase II Option period, Avineon transformed the prototypical system into a pre-production system. During the Phase III contract, Avineon will develop and deliver the TRIDW, extending the system designed during Phase II to incorporate a periodical source data extraction over the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network Worldwide SECRET level packet switch network that uses high-speed internet protocol routers and high-capacity Defense Information Systems Network circuitry.
