Will Manufacture FLIGHTMAX(R) EX500 Multi-function Display

MSL has developed a unique solution tailored to meet Avidyne's specific requirements for support of the FlightMax EX500. The company's award winning design center in Westford, Massachusetts has provided product development support and MSL will provide a suite of integrated supply chain services including product development support, new product introduction, global supply chain management, printed circuit board assembly, complete system assembly, and order fulfillment.

Avidyne's FlightMax EX500 brings revolutionary, integrated-datalink multifunction display capability to the flight deck of business and general aviation aircraft. The EX 500's integrated datalink capability provides pilots with the complete weather picture all along their route of flight. The satellite-linked weather is seamlessly integrated with the flight plan moving map, lightning, traffic, and terrain display, providing pilots with a new level of situational awareness and safety.

MSL has invested in tools and processes that enable it to meet the stringent process requirements for avionics manufacturing. MSL builds electronic products to IPC-A-610 Class 3 workmanship standards and has been audited by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure compliance with FAA manufacturing standards that focus on process control, documentation procedures and product traceability.
