The Avid Unity for News product is an integrated, nonlinear, real time-optimized news production infrastructure that consists of the Avid Unity MediaNet shared media network, the MediaManager v2.0 distributed media asset management system, and TransferManager v1.0, a system which uses existing networks to move media. The Avid(R) NewsCutter Effects v2.0 system, the latest edition of Avid's industry-leading NewsCutter family of digital editing products for broadcast news production, offers a host of key enhancements, including record-to-timeline, mappable keyboard and support for workgroup collaboration.
